Burdock Root Extract
Burdock extract is made with the roots (Arctium lappa) of the plant. Our Raw SuperCool proprietary double extraction process yields a Super Strength Holistically Standardized extract. Liquid extracts are absorbed faster than tablets or capsules, and are more potent than tinctures. Holistically Standardized guarantees that the constituents of the extract are in the same synergistic ratios as in the plant.

Burdock is classified as a bitter herb, stimulating the stomach to secrete bile and produce other digestive juices. It is, therefore, very useful to treat anorexia nervosa, digestive problems and to regulate appetite. When used for gout, this herb causes the excretion of urea and uric acid.
Scientific investigations verify this plant’s hypoglycemic properties (lowers blood sugar levels). Additional studies demonstrate burdock’s active constituents are diaphoretic (promote sweating), anti-tumor, diuretic, antimicrobial and antipyretic (reduce fever).
All of these characteristics make burdock an excellent purifier of our bodies’ systems.
